The effectiveness of my online tutoring

My Online tutoring involves a student connecting with the tutor remotely through the internet, using a unique online link on their computer, to receive personalized instruction in a chosen Maths topic/unit, where the tutor provides explanations, guidance, and support on planned topics, all done virtually without physically meeting in person; this allows for flexible scheduling and access to the excellent tutor from anywhere with an internet connection. 

Key aspects of my online tutoring:

Video communication:
During sessions, we interact through live video chat, allowing for real-time interaction, visual demonstrations, and discussions. 

Digital tools:
The online platform provides features like shared whiteboards, document sharing, online quizzes, and practice exercises to enhance the learning experience. 

Personalized learning:
At dy-thea-tutors I tailor my instructions based on the student's individual needs, learning pace, and specific areas of difficulty. 

Flexible scheduling:
Students can choose session times that fit their schedule, often allowing for evening or weekend tutoring.

Equipment needed

My online Maths tutoring sessions will work effectively on a desktop computer, laptop or tablet. Using a mobile phone is not recommended, because the screen size is too small to be effective.

You do not need to download a software as I use Google Meet which is most reliable on Google Chrome.

Headphones with built in microphone could be useful to reduce noise distractions.

A good stable broadband connection is also required. This will be duly checked during the introductory session.
